This Walpole, Massachusetts, police officer was learning the ropes of community outreach.
Deputy Chief John Carmichael on Wednesday came across some girls waiting at their bus stop. "What followed was an epic jump rope battle for neighborhood domination," the police department's Facebook page said.
"I'm just getting started," Carmichael boasted as he ticks off the jumps against Molly and Sarah in the video below.
But in this case, the girls fought the law and the law ... lost.
"Although he made a gallant effort, DC Carmichael's advanced years were no match for the energy and vitality of youth," the department wrote.
